There will be four elections held in 2020. The first election is the Democratic Party Presidential Primary on March 10. A special election will take place on May 5th. This will be followed up with the primaries for all other office on August 4th. The 2020 general election will be held on November 3rd, 2020.
To be able to vote in Michigan you must meet the following conditions:
A resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote for at least 30 days before election day.
A citizen of the United States of America.
At least 18 years of age (by election day).
Not serving a sentence in jail or prison.
If you want to check to see if you are registered, visit fill out an application and submit it online. Alternatively, you can go to your local township or city clerk to file in person.
