EARLY VOTING STARTS

To be able to vote in Michigan you must meet the following conditions:

  • A resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote for at least 30 days before election day.

  • A citizen of the United States of America.

  • At least 18 years of age (by election day). 

  • Not serving a sentence in jail or prison.

 

  • If you want to check to see if you are registered, visit www.Michigan.gov/vote, fill out an application and submit it online. Alternatively, you can go to your local township or city clerk to file in person.
