Trump’s high disapproval is a result of his incompetence and corruption

In the most recent average of presidential approval/disapproval polling, a majority of Americans (54.7%), disapprove of Trump’s presidency, while only 40.9% approve. Trump is underwater by almost 14%.
Trump’s low poll rankings are of his own making. The primary reason for his low approval is the ego that drives him to inappropriate actions just because he thinks them appropriate. Added to this, the cabinet of “experts” he appointed know no more about their roles than he does, and they believe they must show adoration of “King Donald” rather than provide reasonable and sound advice on his programs.
A sample of cabinet lightweights who have demonstrated this include RFK Jr, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kristi Noem, former Secretary of Homeland Security, Pam Bondi, United States Attorney General and Pete Hegseth, United States Secretary of Defense (War.)
After getting through the COVID pandemic, people don’t look forward to another one and they trust medical science more than a crackpot vaccine skeptic.
Noem was a disaster as Homeland Security Director. Her false statements after innocent citizens were murdered by her ICE agents were glaring examples of her incompetence and dishonesty.
Pam Bondi has transformed the Justice Department into a private law firm under the hire of Donald Trump, initiating many of the prosecutions demanded by “The King’s” retribution campaign.
Hegseth gave his position a new name, Secretary of War, and now we are in one which might end when Trump “feels it in his bones.”
So, Trump is stuck in the mud of high disapproval, fostered by his incompetence and corruption, and by the actions of a group of rookies in his cabinet who are as incompetent and corrupt as he is.
On March 28th, We the People expressed our strong disapproval of Trump’s ongoing efforts to transform our democracy into a corrupt dictatorship. I encourage everyone to get involved in saving democracy, and to register and vote in the upcoming midterm elections. We have the power to pull our country out of the mud that Trump and his accomplices have created.
